A boutique event space perfect for intimate events.
The Colonial at Sunset was originally built as a private residence by Art + Mary Schrader, known to our family as Pop + Mim. Current property owner, Terry, son of Art is also called "Pop" by his children + grandchildren. He coined the name "Poppy" by the only granddaughter. When it came to naming our boutique event space, naming it after Pop just seemed like the perfect fit.
The Poppy House is perfect for seated events with 60 guests or less. If you choose to use the pool terrace, a larger guest count is possible.
The Poppy House can be reserved hourly for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, retreats, luncheons, etc. We will not simultaneously host two events at the same time. Therefore, this space may be reserved between 11:00 A.M. Sunday - Thursday at 10:00 P.M.

- Up to 3 Cocktail Tables
- Up to (8) 4 ft or (8) 8 ft Rectangular Tables
- Up to 50 Wooden Chairs
- Logistics Walk Through 30 Days Prior to Event (custom floor plan created during meeting)
- Complimentary Set-up + Take-down of our tables and chairs
- General cleaning at conclusion of Client’s Event
