Is there indoor space in case of inclement weather?

Yes, you can plan your entire wedding to be outdoors. However, in the case of inclimate weather, you can be moved inside one of our indoor spaces. 

How many people does the venue comfortably accommodate?

We cap the Poppy House at 50 guests to ensure there’s enough space for everyone including your vendors. Our large event space can comfortably seat up to 200-225 guests. 

How many people can stay in the Colonial Home?

The Colonial Home boasts 5 bedrooms + 5 Bathrooms, which sleeps between 12 guests comfortably. 

Do you only host weddings?

No, we can also accommodate other events like bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, quinceneras and more. If you have an idea of an event you'd like to host, we'd love to hear it! 

If we book the all-inclusive, Do we still get to have a say in what our wedding will look like?

Absolutely! Your wedding will still be your way, even with our all-inclusive package. We simply take the stress out of planning for you, but you still choose all the details. We handle the payments, the contracts, the coordination, and more so you can truly enjoy your wedding day while knowing things are being handled. 

We have more than 10-15 people who need accommodation, are there other options nearby?

Yes! We’ve partnered with local hotels for room blocks that are approximately 15 minutes away from The Colonial. 

Will there be more than one event at a time?

Never, our goal is to make sure you feel completely comfortable and cared for so we never double book and we only ever book one wedding per weekend.  

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are permitted for your ceremony if you hire a designated dog-sitting company. We love your furry friends, but they are not allowed to stay on-site. More details provided upon a tour visit. 

What if I want to have a small wedding only? 

We love intimate weddings. Our Poppy House is the perfect place to accommodate small weddings. If you have 50 guests or less, we can easily host your wedding reception indoors.  If you are planning to host a wedding with more than 50 guests, then you will automatically be moved to the larger building.
